Karl and Alexa’s wedding day started out stormy (just wait until you see the shoe picture!)! When I got to the church, I knew I had very little time to get any outside detail photos done before the rain hit. Consequently, we had to change the schedule around, and we ended up doing most of the photos in the church before the ceremony. Karl and Alexa chose not to see each other before the wedding. Karl could hardly look up at Alexa as she walked down the aisle to him…clearly overcome with emotion.
Alexa’s choice of colors…her shoes, her dress, her flowers all exquisite. I loved Alexa’s yellow shoes with the matching sunflower bridal bouquet. Alexa’s dress had an ombre effect. The lace started light at the top and faded to dark at the bottom. She chose the perfect amount of accessories! !
After the ceremony, the rain held off long enough for us to stop by one of my favorite spots for photos! We had about 30 minutes to do all of the bride and groom photos and the outside photos of the wedding party! However, they turned out so beautiful!
Finally, we arrived at Qioxote Hills Reception Hall in Hoagland, IN! After a lot of dancing and some crazy cake smashing, we ran outside to grab the remaining rays of sun! What a beautiful, perfect day!!
