When Bethany told me she wanted to do a Wizard of Oz Newborn session, I was unsure what I was going to do for sure. Bethany is a huge Wizard of Oz fan and was planning to decorate baby girl’s bedroom in the same theme! Bethany had the dog and the blanket, and she knew she wanted a rainbow incorporated into it! Other than that, it was up to me. So, I started pulling out what I had and it all came together. The oil can and heart of the tin man, the lion, and the straw-like fur for the scarecrow! It is so much fun styling sessions and the Wizard of Oz newborn session theme was exactly what I like to do!
Bethany also really liked browns and purples! I was excited to use the newborn brown blanket backdrop I had. Baby girl sure looks pretty against that color! Love how the soft pinks and the purples go together!
This shot is one of my favorites from the session. I really dig shadows, profile views and baby rolls! All of these are combined in this photo. Baby girl looks so pretty in that soft pink!
