This wedding was one gorgeous spring wedding! An wedding in March can be scary not knowing what the weather will do. Well, as Indiana springs would have it, the day started out rainy and cold. Despite the chilliness and rain, the day ended up perfect. In fact, the sun appeared for a little bit while we did photos outside!
Tara chose Navy and gold for her colors. Her bridesmaids dresses where just stunning, especially against the Sunken Gardens in Huntington, IN as a backdrop! Saints Peter and Pail Church where Neil and Tara were married is gorgeous as well! Therefore, we did some wedding party photos and bride and groom photos in the church as well as at the Sunken Gardens.
I love the little details Tara had like the arrows for the rings. Adding personal touches to your wedding day makes photographing so much fun! In addition, Tara’s bouquet was just beautiful! I am a huge fan of the bride using real flowers for her bouquets! Finally, the white roses are a perfect touch to gold and navy!
One of my favorite and most important photos to get is when the dad is walking the bride down the aisle. That photo was missing from my wedding and is a must-have for me. Be sure to communicate with your photographer the must-haves of your day!
And I can’t the groom’s face upon seeing his bride for the first time! Nothing beats that reaction!
With a church like this, an aisle shot is a must! such a stunning church!
I am a sucker for stained glass. If there is a chance to use it, I will!
What a fun get-away car! I just had to take a few extra photos of it!
Neil and Tara, you guys are so much fun and just the sweetest! Your wedding is one for the books! It sure turned out to be a gorgeous spring wedding!
